The city of Bonn with its baroque buildings and centuries of history is at the same time a modern and dynamic city due to its large number of international organizations. Bonn is a college town and home to over 35,000 students from all over the world. Given the city’s welcoming student atmosphere and international flair, it doesn’t take long to fully arrive in Bonn and call the former German capital your new home. In addition, Bonn is known for its very high quality of life and low crime rate.
Student Life & Host Families
We cultivate a respectful and appreciative environment and are proud of the AiB community. Our carefully selected host families open their doors to you and invite you to find a home away from home. Our AiB-Housing team has many years of experience and a good sense to find the right family for you. Some of our programs offer the possibility of housing in shared apartments. Our student staff regularly organizes leisure activities for you through which you can gain access to student life in Bonn and make contact with locals.
